When Elaine Leedy shows her work at outdoor festivals, people stop in their tracks. “I love your use of COLOR!”, they exclaim. Known for her vibrant color and lighting, her paintings reflect her inner spiritual side which draw you in to a peaceful place.
As co-owner of Art That Makes You Laugh by Jeff Leedy for 22 years as CEO, CFO, and COO, Elaine has organized and opened three art galleries by the same name in California and Colorado.
Since beginning her own art career 12 years ago, she has exhibited at several prestigious art festivals such as Main St. Fort Worth, Bellevue (WA) Museum aRT Festival, Park City UT Art Festival, Bayou City Memorial Park and Downtown Festivals, Cottonwood Art Festival, The Woodlands Art Festival, Art in the Square (Southlake TX) and Art on the Square (Madison WI). Her studio and gallery in downtown Marble Falls TX also houses her workshop classroom. Students find her generous with her knowledge and resources as she demonstrates and explains her lively use of color and texture.
Elaine is a member of the Pastel Society of America and the Central TX Pastel Society.
