Creating WOW with Pastels

Designed for students with basic or intermediate drawing and pastel skills, this workshop dives deeper into what it takes for successful, exciting landscapes. We’ll focus on value relationships and learn to love those pesky “thumbnail” sketches. We’ll study composition and explore how the interplay of warm and cool color temperatures create depth and form. You’ll enjoy creating colorful, abstract underpaintings, which will guide you through to the finished painting. 
 
You’ll come away with more confidence to begin each painting and practical knowledge to create “wow” in your new work.
